That's becoz at the beginning Touko told her friend she will become one of the rose eventually . but later on, she and yumi nurture a very strange relationship. she rejected yumi becoz she didn't want people to think she make use of yumi to become the red rose.

Touko is so mean to Yumi! And the presents they gave each other was SOO SWEET!!! And at the end! I love this anime! Sachiko and Yumi have such a beautiful relationship!! :cheer:
